Black Orchid and the Tom Ford philosophy
Tom Ford left Gucci in 2005 and founded his eponymous brand. Black Orchid (2006) was the brand's first perfumery work and expressed the concept of "a dark, mystical, evening-noir approach as the opposite of traditional women's florals".
