Givenchy L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense is the 2020 release from French luxury house Givenchy — the denser, more "evening" version of the L'Interdit family that has run since 1957. The name means "forbidden" in French and pays tribute to the original L'Interdit, custom-commissioned for Audrey Hepburn. Built on orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose, patchouli, vanilla and oud — an elegant balance of sweet white florals and a dense oriental base. Fresh orange blossom and bergamot on the opening, rich white-floral depth in the heart, dense oriental aura of patchouli-vanilla-oud-juniper in the base. L'Interdit and the Audrey Hepburn heritage
The original L'Interdit was created in 1957 by Hubert de Givenchy as a custom commission for Audrey Hepburn — Givenchy wanted to offer it only to the actress herself. Audrey insisted on "sharing it with the public", and the fragrance was released publicly in 1957. The name "the forbidden" pays tribute to this story. In 2018 Givenchy reformulated L'Interdit (perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, Fanny Bal), and in 2020 released this denser Intense version.

Orange blossom and bergamot on the opening give it a fresh "white-floral spring-evening" feel; jasmine, tuberose, rose and carnation in the heart add dense white-floral depth — this is its signature heart layer; patchouli, vanilla, oud, juniper and vetiver in the base warm the dry-down and create a "dense, forbidden evening" performance. Sillage is dense, longevity 10–12 hours — one spray is enough.
